Age 3-5

Younger campers will embark on a magical adventure from day one! To begin the week, campers will create their hero by creating a shield, hero’s cape, magic wand and treasure pouch to wear on adventures.

A simple adventure quest storyline will slowly unfold as the week progresses, with the children having to work together (similar to a cooperative game) to save the kingdom from turning gray and bring colors back to all the land! Each day, based on the previous day’s adventure storyline and the camper’s decisions, camp leaders will modify the story and present new riddles and challenges.

Ages 6-11

Campers will embark on a magical adventure from day one! To begin the week, campers will create their hero – what is the hero’s archetype? Campers can choose to be a sage, an outlaw, an explorer, magician, jester, leader, creator, caregiver and more. What are the powers of each archetype?

Campers design and create a light-weight cape to wear during their ever-morphing adventure quest story. They will use magical ingredients to make potions in tiny bottles just right to wear as a necklace! Their outfit is complete with pouches the campers sew themselves to carry old time coins, just in case they have to pay their way out of a tight situation with a forest scoundrel. Campers will use props during their week-long story adventure, complete with riddles to solve, challenges to overcome, foes to defeat and decisions to be made!

Camp leaders will follow the campers’ decisions and actions at every point in the story and modify the action and events as required to keep the kids on their toes and working together to save the kingdom!
